What Changed After the First Five Years
Everything you wanted to know about the first Five Year Review of Tasmania Together is contained in the Five Year Review Report to Parliament. The Report summarises what happened in the first five years, outlines the community consultation process and most importantly, provides a comparison of the goals and benchmarks in the original Tasmania Together (2001) with the revised Tasmania Together (2006).
Community Consultation
The Progress Board undertook one of the biggest public consultation processes ever conducted in Tasmania in the second half of 2005. A Public Information Package was produced to inform people about Tasmania Together; the achievement of benchmark targets, and the review process. Thousands of Tasmanians put forward their views on what mattered to them. All this information was analysed and formed the basis for a major overhaul of Tasmania Together.
A summary of the input received from the community, called What We Heard , was produced in mid 2006.
