Tasmania Together has 12 broad goals that express the community's priorities for Tasmania's future.
From each goal, an indicator has been selected as the 'headline indicator'. These 12 indicators show a snapshot of progress across Tasmania Together using data available at 5 November 2007.

Data for these indicators will not be updated on these web pages until the next Snapshot of Progress publication in 2008.

Compared to last year...
	1. Costs of essentials for low-income families have increased substantially. Find out more
	2. Tasmanians feel safer at night both at home and in public places. Find out more
	3. Student literacy and numeracy levels for Years 3, 5 and 7 have remained unchanged. Find out more
	4. There has been a large reduction in the number of avoidable deaths. Find out more
	5. Our regional population remains stable. Find out more
	6. Attendance at cultural heritage sites including our museums and art galleries has increased. Find out more
	7. The number of visitor centres with Aboriginal cultural interpretation has not increased. Find out more
	8. The percentage of people voting in local government elections has decreased slightly. Find out more
	9. There has been a decrease in the percentage of people participating in the workforce. Find out more
